An executioner is about to cut the throat of a fifth man. 2) Thecla, Anna and companions. Nuns. Martyrdom, beheading. Thecla, Anna and two companions are about to be beheaded. Ten other co-martyrs, all nuns, stand behind them. (Menologio, I, p. 53, II, fig. p. 196).
