Moscow, gr. 9, fol. 119r. 1) Miracle, water from a rock. At the left, a guard holds the reins of two horses. Another guard holds a cup. Callinicus, with bare, bleeding feet, raises his hand toward the arc of Heaven. 2) Martyrdom, burning. Praying. Callinicus, nude, stands in a bonfire, hands raised in prayer toward the hand of God above. Two executioners stoke the fire. (Ševčenko, N., Metaphrastian Menologion, pp. 68-69, fig. 2A11).
