Charalambus of Magnesia

Charalampus, said to be bishop of Magnesia in Asia. Martyred with Dauctus (Baptus), Porphyrius and three women at Magnesia or at Antioch in Pisidia under Septimius Severus.

Moscow, gr. 183, p. 36. Charalampus and companions. Martyrdom, beheading. Charalampus, a bishop, is about to be beheaded. Name inscribed. The bodies and severed heads of Porphyrius and two female co-martyrs lie on the ground. Dauctus and a male co-martyr stand waiting. (Tréneff, Ménologe grec, p. 7, fig. 9).
