Zones 1-5, and figure of King of England in zone 9 mainly date from 1396 to 1411 on stylistic and heraldic grounds; zones 6-8, 10-11, 13 from the 15th century. Panels of Ancestors of Christ of c. 1180, transferred from clerestories of North sides of Choir and Trinity Chapel, and East side of Southeast Transept to zones 9 and 12 of West Window in the Nave
Commissioned between 1396-1399 probably by Richard II of England (deposed in 1399) whose heraldic escutcheon and those of his first wife, Anna of Bohemia (d. 1394).
